Who We Are
Kookie’s is a small business serving the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. We create custom cakes, cupcakes, jar desserts and other sweet treats for any occasion and any budget. Other products and services include diaper cakes, cupcake bouquets and custom gift baskets.
Our mission is to “make your sweetest memories a little sweeter.”
Our Story
Kookie’s was officially established in December 2015. It all originated from a Christmas gift from my husband. After months of sitting with me as I watched cake decorating shows and listening to me make comments about wanting to try it myself, my husband decided to buy a cake decorating class from the local craft store. This experimental learning experience grew into a hobby & a passion and has now grown into a thriving business before our eyes! Due to layoffs from my professional job as a Cost Analyst, I’ve become so consumed with this gift and passion for baking and cake decorating that it may very well become my new career!

Do you make gluten-free, allergen-free, and / or sugar-free cakes?
Yes, we can customize any cake or dessert that will meet most dietary constraints.
Do you deliver?
Yes, delivery is available within the Hampton Roads region for a nominal fee. Shipping is also available for some dessert orders.
Does my order require a deposit / prepayment?
A deposit/prepayment is required for all custom orders. Deposits are due 72 hours prior to delivery/pickup date.
What happens if I need to cancel an order?
Cancellation of an order must be made within 72 hours of the delivery/pick-up date. All cancellations made less than 72 hours from delivery/pick-up date will be charged a cancellation fee and/or will result in loss of deposit.
How far in advance do I need to place my order?
All small custom orders must be received at least 5 days prior to due date if that date is available. Wedding cake and/or large custom orders must be made at least a week in advance.
Can I pay online?
Yes, payments can be made through PayPal. You may request an electronic invoice by submitting a contact form under this website’s “CONTACT” tab.
